Health Guarantee & Contract

1. I will accept a personal check from in state or out of state for a deposit on a puppy.
2. All Checks must be cleared before a puppy leaves my home. To avoid delay I will accept a Money Order from your local post office..and a Certified Bank Check.
3. In the event that the puppies are under the age of going home with you, a deposit to hold your puppy once born and viewed will be needed the day you decide you want him/her, if in the direct area, if out of area, I will alow 5 days hold till deposit is received.. Deposits must be received within that 5 day holding period..
4. A deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choice, a deposit in the amount of 50 %/half the cost of puppy to hold your puppy for you.
5. Remember that deposits are NON REFUNDABLE! NO CASH REFUNDS!! So Please be sure when deciding to purchase a puppy that is in fact what you intend to do..Also No Refunds on puppies that have been placed. A Placed puppy means one that you have already picked out put money on and/or taken home, or one that you have had me hold for serveral days, weeks or even months. I will try to place that puppy in another home and help you recoop your monies as well, but I will not refund your money. "Potty training", Fleas,Dry Skin,(especially in the winter) are not medical defects, also please be aware, "umbilical hernias" are very common in the "Shih Tzu" breed. It can be easily repaired,and no warranty is given for HERNIAS.
6. No puppy leaves my house any younger than 8 weeks old, and sometimes older than 8wks, it will be my judgement call.(If tiny ones plan on at least 12-16 wks before shippment to be safe) I know you're anxious but the only concern I have is the health of the puppy. I can't bend this rule, sorry!
7. All puppies will have their first set of puppy shots or more depending on the age when he/she leaves to go to it new home, worming and thoroughly vet checked before the puppy goes to its new home.
8. If you are having your puppy shipped you are responsible for all shipping charges, insurance on the puppy & crate. Crates cost is approx.$30.00 (the crate will be yours to keep when the puppy arrives). There is also a $25.00 Flight certificate fee, that is required by the airlines in order to ship your puppy. Shipping usually cost approx. $200.00 to $250.00 The prices vary from different airlines..., For Insurance they charge $1.00 for every $200.00 of coverage, so normally that would be an extra $5.00 and tax. (prices are subject to change, up to the airlines) Pricing for shipping for personal delivery is the actual cost for ticket and puppy's ticket cost to fly within the cabin with the person delivering the puppy to the new owner.
9. Once the puppy leaves my home and is taken to the airport and leaves the ground, If shipped CARGO, I am no longer responsible, if anything happens to that puppy between here and you, you will have to take that up with the air lines themselves. (Have shipped for 10 yrs now, with 100 percent success).
10. Registration papers will be mailed separately, the day full payment received and your check has cleared. I will send them out by mail. IF not yet received from registry when Puppy is shipped, papers will be forwarded to you upon receipt from the registry..All my puppies are sold with limited registration unless prior arrangement have been made differently...than stated in this contract..
11. In the event the puppy is ready and papers are not in yet, you can decide if you want to wait till papers come in before shipping.You can take your puppy if you feel you want...This is your call, I will hold puppy till they come or let him go it's up to you (Chances are the papers will be ready when puppy is).
12. If you decide not to take your puppy at 8 wks of age or when he/she is ready for placement, PAYMENT must be made for all puppies by 7 wks of age, even though not taking possesion till a later date at your choice.. or the call of the breeder due to size and still needing to be with Breeder till an older age such as 10/12 wks of age...
13. In the event that you decide down the line you can't keep your puppy/dog I promise to help you find a good loving home for him/her.

I give a Guarantee for my puppies that leaves my house, they will have been vet checked and have a current health certificate..I do not gurantee Parvo, Distemper, Kennel Cough, Flea,Coccidia,Giradia.. if you DO NOT complete the shots due your puppy if any are still due when you receive puppy and he/she had not gotten the complete set recommended by a licensed vet.. Older puppies past 16 wks will have all shots due and gurantee covers all virus stated above.. Once you receive your puppy you have 2 business days to have him vet checked to start your gurantee.. A completed copy of the vet check must be mailed to me and or faxed upon completion.. Failure to do so will void the gurantee.. I do guarantee for 1 yr for hereditary health problems that develope within the first year of the puppy's life. After recieving proof from your vet(at your expense...I do not refund vet bills), pupppy owner will be responsible for getting the puppy to breeder so it can be taken to Vet of choice... If you live out of state you will have to make the arrangements to return him to me and the expenses involved.. In the event that the puppy dies due to hereditary defect confirmed with an ecropsy, and this is proven by your vet and mine, I promise to replace that puppy with the first available puppy I have of same sex & on the same contract. NO Cash Refunds. I do not qurantee size of puppy, as I am only using my past experience.. and do the best I can to predict the adult size..I will be honest as I can with you at all times.. Sorry, NO Cash Refunds.
I have read and agree to all of the above provisions stated .. and have been advised and given copy Puppy Law 828.29.. Florida Statutes(F.S.) New Puppy Owner..
